This is a new chrome steel small block Chevy V8 "low mount" alternator bracket. Comes with brackets and mounting hardware. Fits '55-'68 Chevy 283-350 small blocks.

Mounts to 2 holes in the block beside the timing cover near the oil pan. Will put the alternator on the lower driver's side under the cylinder head. For short style mechanical water pumps. Works great when using an electric pump also!
